Our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life happens—meetings run late, plans change, and sometimes things just come up! Because we reserve a specific time slot exclusively for your pet, we kindly ask for the following:

• 24-Hour Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us the opportunity to offer that time slot to another pet in need of care.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service.

• Same-Day / "At the Door" Cancellations: If we arrive at your home and the walk is cancelled at the door (or if the dog is not available), the full service fee will apply.

• Emergency Grace: We are humans and neighbors first! We offer one "Life Happens" credit per year, where we will waive the cancellation fee for a genuine last-minute emergency.

Why we have this policy: As a local business, our schedule is carefully optimized to ensure every dog gets the full attention they deserve. When a spot is cancelled last minute, it’s often too late for us to reroute to another family who may have needed a walk.
